I finally have some time to make a proper LJ entry! *grin!*

Maaaan, the last couple of days have gone by incredibly slowly... and now I am utterly exhausted. The problem with working at Wijnegem Shopping Center is that it's hard to be excited over the holidays when all you want is for them TO BE OVER AND DONE WITH ALREADY.

I was lucky enough to have an early shift on Christmas Eve~! *BEAMS!* I was feeling truly awful in the afternoon (I think I caught a stomach flu bug?) so for a moment there it looked like we'd have to cancel our dinner reservation... b-but, because I got to go home relatively early and rest up before dinner time things turned out okay. RELIEF.

OKAY. I AM EVEN MORE TIRED NOW AFTER WRITING THIS. :') I think I will go stare at my sparkly new Cyberbike...

Okay, so everybody knows how pathetic I am at checking LJs and mailboxes. Well, I'm trying to be better, case in point. However, loser that I am, I just noticed the lovely snowflake cookies or virtual gifts I received. Uh huh, I suck.

Gah, not only did untold_story  aka Shay gift me one of those holiday coupon thingies but she also gifted me a $15 dollar gift certificate as a belated happy birthday gift. She knew I had no plans of actually using that holiday vouchers so she upped the stakes by giving the coupon which meant that I just had to upgrade my account or let her money go to waste.

And do you know her logic behind this wildly extravagant gesture? She's trying to guilt me into updating more. Well, her logic actually worked... 'cos here I am updating the LJ and prettyifying it, something which i had no wish to do earlier. I have not spent this much time on an LJ since god-knows-when. So there, hope you are happy now, hon!

Obligatory picture of little_ribbon in the snow? BIGGER HERE! xDD! This was right before I had to rush off to work... I know I look like I'm standing in the middle of a random garden - but that's actually the little grassy area in front of the apartment block I live in. If you look closely, you'll notice the Santa Clauses climbing up the buildings in the background. My mother HATES THESE THINGS WITH A PASSION. She's been ranting about a building in Merksem that has over THIRTY SANTA CLAUSES climbing up the walls. O.o;;
